I believe your Elizbeth was the sister of my Robert Flounders

He marriied Mary Richardson 24 July 1816 at Scarborough:
"in the presence of Jane Wells and William Flounders (probably Robert's father) Scarborough, Yorkshire, England"

The marriage Certificate of George Hawksworth & Ann Flounders, August 15th, 1847: (Wortley District)says:
"solemnized at the Parish Church in the Parish of Silkstone. George, 25, res. of Barnsley, Labourer, f. William Hawksworth, Innkeeper. Ann Flounders, 28, res of Barnsley, f. Robert Flounders, Sailor."

Robert must have died between 1829 and 1841 as in that year Mary appears to be alone with her son at Seamen's Hospital/Wellington Place/ North Terrace, Scarborough, York, England
