Hello Jim,

I thought it must be you because you knew so much about Obediah.

I miss Marie too. I remember when I first met her, my grandmother took me to meet Marie because I had become so interested in the family history.

My father and I came to the reunion at your place in 1989. I was so thrilled with the log cabin. Since then I have married and have three boys. That keeps me busy. Lost many family also, sad to say. My mother died in 2000 just before my third son was born. We lost dad, Bill Yeoman, Feb 26, 2010. All the aunts and uncles are gone too. I try so hard to teach my boys family because I want them to be remembered. Dad was close to all the grandchildren. The oldest James was born just weeks before we came to NC in 89. Only one girl, my niece Vicky.

I would love to catch up on all the family. The Florence Reunion lasted until 2005. Have lost touch with most of them. I did get some of the family stuff of Marie's. Her daughter just didn't care for all the research her mother did. I got some wonderful framed pictures, books and photo albums.

If you care to catch up too, my email is mmsholey@netnitco.net

So glad I took a chance and sent the message to you.
Mary Yeoman Sholey
