Hello Lois,
I am interested in learning more about "Lettice Whit(e)scarver" / Wm. Florence, as I think they are in my family tree. Here is what I have on them so far (mostly about the Florence side):
1.William Florence, b. 1729 Prince William, VA, d. 11/15/1799 Lincoln, GA, married Lettice Whitscarver, b. 1733, Prince William, VA. Children: Wm. Jr.,b. Jan 1735 or 1736; Frances, b. ca. 1754; Thomas, b. ca. 1752; Obadiah, b. ca. 1756; Mary, b. ca. 1758; William, b. ca. 1761 [two Williams?]; John, b. 1765.
2.John Flourence b. 1673 “Fauquier Co., VA, d. 7/27/1752, married Elizabeth Wyatt b. ca. 1673 (or 1708??) , d. (?) Listed as having 4 children: William b. 1705, George b. ca. 1727, William b. 1729, Joseph ca. 1731. This is seriously messed up, I think, because of Elizabeth’s dates. If 1708 is actually her death date, only the first William could have been her child. If it’s a proposed birth date, only the last 3 children could be hers!
3. William Florence b. 1637, England d. after 1673 prob. In Stafford Co., VA, married “Mrs. William Florence” b. ca. 1657, Stafford Co., VA.

I'm interested in the deed linking William and Lettice that you mentioned, as well.
