There were many Florances/Florences/Flourances in No.Carolina, during the 1800's. Check out the names of Obediah, and Toliver for starters. Don't have data at my fingertips on Mary right now. The Florance family mentioned above lived in the Caswell County area. Am sure the aove are on this board just scroll to the above mentioned names. Also check out the post Florances in Kansas. This family was in N.C. during that time frame.
