In an article in the Clogher Record of 1992on "Assisted Immigration" titled _Emigration from the Slhirley Estate 1843-54_ there is a Mary Floody aged 30, w/Thomas 16, Pat'k 15, Jane 14, Anne 9, Mary 6, Peter 3, John 6 mos. from Cornesegagh, Arpil / May 1844 . The article does not name the ship, nor its destination.....I assume the US.

Mary Floody stated in a petition that her husband is in a far and distant land seeking employment.
