More info here. I heard back from Mike Floody about my Charles.
He is Charles Vivian Floody, born 1891 Port Hope, Ontario died 1932
Son of George Floody, born 1861 in Ontario and Mary Black (no dates available)
Other children of George and Mary were Robert b. 1903 d. 1904
Susan b. 1888
Triphenia b. 1884 d. 1938
and daughter no dates available
With date of birth 1861 George could perhaps even be same family as your Alexander? but Mike Floody did not have anything further back on this. I will check with him again to see if he knows who George's parents are. Then maybe we can do some connecting here?
I will keep in touch. My friend says that she has now seen a family history that takes family back to Enniskillen, Ireland, which is interesting since we all now live about 20 minutes from Enniskillen, Ontario. Apparently this is where they came and called the town by the same name as their home town in Ireland.
I have not seen this family history yet, so will let you know where that goes too.
