Hi, Regarding Luke and Frances Flood's daughter, Fannie, wife of White. Fannie's husband may have been Thomas White of Killadooley. The 1899 edition of A Genealogical and Heraldic History of the Landed Gentry of Ireland (see Google books) the following lineage under White of Charleville: Lineage.¡ªThis family has been settled in the Queen's Co. since the middle of the 17th century. About the year 1657, Charles White went from Oxford to Ireland, and settled at Kilmartin, near Borris-in-Ossory. He m. Miss Lyons, of the §ã§à. Meath, and had issue, 1. Edward, of Kilmartin, m. Miss Lidwill, of Dromard, §ã§à. Tipperary, and had issue, an only son, Charles, served in the Black Horse (Ligonier's Dragoons), m. Dorothea, widow of John White, of Kilpurcet, and had issue, Thomas, of Killadooley, m. Miss Flood, of Roundwood, and had issue, a dau., Fann¨ªe;, m. Daniel Dillon. Frances Sharp and Luke Flood married in 1755, Fannie was their 3rd daughter. The eldest daughter, Catherine married in 1779 and the youngest, Jane, married in 1791. It seems likely that Fannie married between or at least near to the date range of 1779 to 1791, plus or minus a year or two. This would mean that Charles White's great-grandson, Thomas married about 125 to 135 years after his arrival and marriage in Ireland. This is possible, my grandfather came to America in 1912, and his latest great-grandson was born in 2008. A marriage to Miss Flood, of Roundwood, before this time period is very unlikely, as there is no record of a Flood family at Roundwood until Luke Flood married Frances Sharpe, the daughter of Anthony Sharp of Roundwood.
