Robert Anthony Flood-Sharp had at least one son, William Edward Flood Sharp. The house at Roundwood is now a bed and breakfast. On the website for Roundwood, www.roundwoodhouse.com , is the history of the house. It states that when Robert Anthony Flood died in 1803, his one year old son inherited his estate at Roundwood. In 1835, the estate was lost to creditors, a year or two later a cousin of the Flood Sharp's, William Hamilton bought Roundwood and their family held it until the 1968.
The Index to the Prerogative Wills of Ireland, Arthur Vicars, 1897 lists
1803 Sharp, Robert Anthony F,. Dubl., esq
William Edward Flood Sharp is mentioned in passing in several books. An excellent research tool is a book search at Google. Google has scanned many older books. On the Google search engine, click "more" a list drops, choose books and search for William Flood Sharp.
msn also has a book search.
