Will of Johanna Flood, dated 21 OCT. 1720, "Thomas Cocke son of Walter Cocke, to have Anne Flood until she is of age, and is appointed Exercutor of the J. Flood Estate." (Surry Book 1728-54, page 433). Does anyone know the connection for the COCKES and the FLOODS...Walter Cocke, Thomas Cocke, Lemuel Cocke, Henry Cocke SR, all were in Surry Co, VA, until Henry Cocke JR, moved to NC, Rutherford & Wade CO...Samuel M. Cocke was born in NC moved to MS, Henry Harris Cocke, James Alexander Cocke, Samuel A. Cocke were b.in Tate Co, MS. If you have information on Johanna Flood and what was the connection to this Cocke Family...? Please contact me...
