Thank you for your reply. I am not sure of his exact dob, I have an est of 1858 in Sweden. John and Emma both came into America in 1879. They lived in Chicago, Cook county around Halsted & Emerald and than on 89 & Union. I believe they are buried in Oak Woods cemetery. (I went there Sunday but go figure office was closed). I will try again next week and I will also try the Swensen place in Rock Island. I didn't know it was there thought it was only in MN.
