Pilot Point, Texas, Jan. 15:
Died last evening at her late residence, four miles southeast of Town, Mrs. CAROLINE TAYLOR, wife of RILEY TAYLOR, of pneumonia, age 41 years. Mrs. Taylor came to Texas with her father, T. A. FLIPPIN, to Texas in 1851, and experienced the hardships of frontier life in thic county and was highly esteemed as a neighbor and as a Christin..A member of the Baptist Church in this city, she was a consistent and faithful, a true and confiding wife, and as amother, always tender and affrectionate. She leaves besides her grief-stricken husband, five children. She was buried this afternoon in the Odd Fellows' cemetery. Elder A. H. NORRIS, pastor of the Baptist Church, conducted the service at the Harris house, the residence of Mrs. R. F. BLACK, one of the daughters of the deceased.
