Hi again. Arcena Campbell was with her husband on the 1850 Monroe Co., KY census. You mentioned the Campbells being on another 1850 census. If Arcena isn't with them, then it would be the right one who was already married, living with Frank and their children. The oldest child was born in MO. Another daughter was named Mildred which would be for Arcena's mother. I have seen a few cases where the name FLIPPIN was listed as FLIPING. My ancestor had her surname spelled that way on one record. Thanks for the information on her parents. Francis Marion was a popular name during that time and for a famous General Francis Marion, I believe. Were you able to locate a marriage record for Arcena? They could have married in Ripley Co. or Oregon Co. I didn't know where to look in MO for them but now thanks to you I have an idea of where Francis could have went.
