I have researched many of my family lines, however, the Flippen side has been the hardest yet.

My great grandfather was James Flippen born 26 June 1876 in Virginia, died Sept 1966

Married to Rebecca E Christian born August 1881 virginia, died 02 Oct 1957.

Son was James Flippen born 26 March 1909 and died Dec 1980.

His son, my father, was born Dec 1946.

There is a possiblity that my great great grandmother's name was Rebecca (born 1844). There was a Rebecca Flippen listed in the 1900 census for Tazewell County, Virginia with a Isabella Flippen listed as a daughter.
