Joseph and Charity Flint of Washington County, MD did indeed have a son named John, but NOT the John you have found in Kentucky.The following info is about John, son of Joseph and Charity.Notice that he took the Oath of Allegiance in 1778, and so was likely born before 1760 (my own estimate is 1754) and so is not the John of KY whose tombstone says he was born in 1765 (place unknown?).
