How was Elizabeth Flint Thayer - how related to Adelbert Helmer?
Elizabeth Flint Thayer's obit of 23 Jan 1930 in the Lowville Journal and Republican at fultonhistory.com says she died at the home of Adelbert Helmer and that he was a relative.
Does anyone who how they were related?
Thanks.
Jo

Mrs. Thayer is survived by her husband, a son, Edward Thayer of Black River; a daughter, Mrs. Wallace Peeler, Indian River, and several grandchildren.
The funeral was held from the home of her son, Edward Thayer, Black River, Tuesday at 2 p. m., Rev. Joseph Parkin, pastor of the M. E. church officiating. Interment will be made in Black River cemetery.
FYI, her husband, Jefferey Thayer, died a week after her. His obit, same paper, 30 Jan 1930:
