Mortimer R. FLINT: I wasn't sure if you had ever contacted me before. Civil War:Company D, 10th Missouri Calvary - 1st Lt. - Union army. (There may have been other military units as well) Occupation: Banker Did you get the Census info, or do you need that? Mortimer R. FLINT was the son of Daniel Elmer FLINT and Eliza GODDARD. I have pictures of Eliza GODDARD and Daniel FLINT, Mortimer's brother Byron and his wife, Clarissa GRISWOLD; and of Byron and Clarissa's children Mortimer Byron and Clara Eliza FLINT. The children's picture is not a real good picture though. Mortimer's siblings: 1.)Byron Abiel -b. NOV. 7,1838 - Niagara Co., NY- and married Clarissa Arvilla GRISWOLD. 2.)Mary Deborah -b. abt. 1845 3.)Hellen Eliza - b. abt. 1848-49 4.)Daniel Albert - b. abt. 1852 5.)Baylia -b. abt. 1853 6.)Caroline - b. abt.1855 Mortimer married Mollie, b. abt. 1840 PA. Their children: 1.)Alba -abt. 1868 IL 2.)Charles - abt. 1873 3.)Lillie - abt. 1877 4.)Chester - abt. 1876 IL - married Ida, b. abt. 1878 IL. Mortimer's grandparents were: Abiel FLINT,b. SEPT 1768 and Mary BROWN, b. NOV 1780. They were born in CT, but moved to Portland, Chatauqua Co., NY. Mortimer moved from Niagara County, NY to Missouri between 1850-1860. His parents and some siblings went too. Byron stayed behind in Niagara County, NY. Byron was born in Porter Twp., Niagara Co., NY. That is about all I can tell you about him, other than other ancestors, like great grandparents or aunts and uncles. Notify Administrator about this message?
