Thanks, I've seen excerpts of the book - and will look into the publisher. I think you and Peter Flint have some of the most extensive "on line" knowledge and references - I'm trying to figure out how the Flints got to Bridgton.

I have Zibah and James (cousins) who were Lois' parents. James served for a very short time in the revolutionary war - it was days if any. I've been trying to figure the draw to Bridgton, lumber?

My Bennetts were carpenters - I'm trying to figure them out too - there must have been (speculation) some joint family interest between the Flints and Bennetts - I'm at a loss for the Bennett's and have been stuck by the Flint Migration to Maine aside from Land, Lumber ??

James' brother and Father were military officers - that's been established - family rift? of some sort? Just a puzzlement.

Thanks,
Karen
