This article appeare in the February 2, 1917 "Tomah Journal" It appears 1917 was a winter of low temperatures and snow in central Wisconsin. Article starts,"Little Nora Flint had a narrow escape from freezing to death last Monday morning while trying to cross the woods from Ray Griffen's to her home. She was almost 24 hours in the woods when she was heard crying and rescued by Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hunt who cared for her till the roads opened so she could get home. She is all right now."
Not related is an interesting article just passing it on to the Flint researchers. Ann
