The site is by Tom Agan who I have been in contact with before. The true expert however is Marvin Beatty who has done a great deal of research on the Flick line. I do not have his current e-mail address but you should be able to get it from the surname page of the Orange County genweb site. Chris was a Revolutionary War Veteran, was born in PA moved to VA, before moving to KY. Tom has a summary of all of Chris's activities. Catherine is not listed as a descendent but again I think there is probably a connection. It is possible that there was a brother to Chris living in Nelson County at about the same as he named Peter. I do not know any more about him however. I have lots of information about Chris. His son Hiram married Elizabeth Drake the daughter of Braxton Drake and Martha Greer. According to my records Braxton was born in 1776 in Franklin Co., VA. His father was William Drake and mother was Mary ?. I believe the following men to also be Braxton Sons. Ransom Drake who married Elizabeth Flick the daughter of Chris and Susannah Cook (his second wife)(first wife of Chris is unkown to me) and Jefferson Drake who married first Elizabeth Flick the daughter of Chris Flick JR. and Polly Cox and second America Flick her sister.
Chris SR. was born in 1756 in PA but most of these facts are on Toms site at rootsweb. Check it out and if you need more information I will gladly supply what I can.
