Hi Keith,
I have four George's whom I suspect are actually the same person:
GEORGE FLEWELLING in Portland Parish (Saint John), County of Saint John, in 1867/8 a millwright
GEORGE FLEWELLING of Portland m. 27AUG1856 ELIZABETH ANN BAIRD (or Beard)
GEORGE FLEWWELLING b. ca. 1836 living on Long Reach (just north of Saint John) m. RUTH DAVIS, father ELISHA FLEWWELLING, mother _____ LASKEY, children: Fred A. b. ca. 1875, Charles d. 1942, George and Ernest (this from an old Flewelling genealogy which is reliable in some ways, in others is not.) ELISHA could be the son of THOMAS and MARY FLEWELLING of Westfield Parish, Kings Co., son of John and Deborah (Denton) Flewelling; or Elisha could be connected with the family of JOSEPH FLEWELLING of Saint John City.
GEORGE FLEWELLING b. ca. 1837 m. ELIZABETH (b. ca. 1841), Portland Parish census 1881, 'Free Thinker', rest of family Free Christian Baptist, carpenter, "Welch"; ch.: Georgea? b. ca. 1867, Fred b. ca. 1869, Bertha b. ca. 1873, Edwin b. ca. 1875 and James b. ca. 1877.
