Hi I am burton's wife Angella we have been researching the Flewellings in Kingston for about 3 years now.I am a bit confused when it comes to the georges.
Firstly I was talking to Mr. Burton Flewelling, that is Burton "Troy" (he goes by Troy) he said that his grandfather was George Flewelling who married an Ann Elizabeth Davis not a Ruth??? He also told us that his gradfather was buried in a graveyard on Lake Road on the Pennisula. So Troy and I went to the site and photographed the site. The stone read:
Flewelling
George H
and his wife
Ann E.
on the back side it read:
Gertie
Frankie
Annie
which I presume are childern.
George apparently was born in 1865 and Ann b.29 July 1850.d. 26 Feb 1936 This information had came from a document which Ernest Lorenzo Flewelling complied and gave to my mother in law.Is it possible that the George who married Ruth could be this George's father ??? I am definately confused.
Thanks alot
Troy & Angella
