In the book of "Marriages of Notre Dame, Springvale, Maine, 1887 - 1981" shows: Jos. Amedee Fleurant (Napoleon & Julie Maron) m. June 28 1920, M. Louise Rose Morin (Napoleon & Mathilde Moras). I believe that Amedee's mother was actually a "Morin" and not "Maron". Also found a possible son: Marcel (Amedee & Louisa Morin) m. April 6 1942, Aline Mercier in Biddeford, Maine. Marcel was baptized at St. Ignatius Church, Sanford, ME in 1921. Couldn't find any siblings.
My husband's grandmother was a Fleurant. I have just started doing research and have already encountered some problems. The library I go to does not have any info on marriages in Yamaska County, QC, which means I have to do some "digging" elsewhere.
I'll keep you in mind. Hopefully we can find that Sevigny-Morin-Fleurant connection! Also, my grandmother had a stepfather: Joseph Morin m. Georgienne Parent, Nov 7, 1911, St. Isidore, Dorchester County, QC. I have some information on that Morin line but I don't see any Sevignys.
