Thanks for your response. Did not know what happened to Levi. My husband's great grandfather was James Dykes Fletcher b18 Jan 1834 Scott Co, Va d 21 Dec 1917 Scott Co,Va , the son of Issac and we collected a lot of information on him. I actually have a picture of him in my husband's things but right now can't put my hands on it. My husband joined the Military Order of the Stars and Bars on the record of James Dykes Fletcher who was a 2nd Lt. 64th Virginia Mounted Infantry CSA. Issac died of camp fever at Camp Moccasin, Scott Co, Va 12 July 1862.
My husbands grandfather was William Harvey Fletcher married to Nancy Jane Pannel Both of them are buried in Rogersville,Tn in the same cemetery as their son Rufus Fugate Fletcher, my father-in-law.
I appreciate the information you shared and will try to follow up on some of the leads you have provided.
