Looking for information on the Fleshood family. Info to date shows that William T. Fleshood was born 1797 in Botetourt Co., VA and died 1862 in Winchester, VA. He m. Martha Barnes in 1825 and then m. Harriet Buckley 1847 in Brunswick Co., VA.

Children of William and Harriet are listed as:
Francis b. 1849
Lydonia b. 1851
Ferdinand b. 1855
Elizabeth b. 1859

It has been thought, but not proven, that William was the son of Francis Fleshart and Elizabeth Wysong. They were married in 1794 in Botetourt Co., VA. Her father was Feidt Wysong, a blacksmith in Fincastle, VA. Francis and Elizabeth moved to the Knox Co., TN area in the early 1800's. William was not listed in the will of Francis Fleshart d. abt. 1809.

Children of Francis and Elizabeth are listed as:
Mary "Polly"

Daughter, Jane Asbereen Fleshart, was born 1815 which is after the death of Francis. ???

Some other lines connected with this family are Crockett, Noel, Berry, Watterson, Wolfenbarger, Locke, and Paul.
