Robert Fleming (1772-1852 Pike Co., KY) Y-DNA Project Forming

I am seeking any direct male descendants of Robert Fleming (b. ca. 1772, died 1852 in Pike Co., KY) to join a new Y-DNA Project through Family Tree DNA. Participants must 1) agree to have the 37 (or 59) marker test, 2) must have some degree of confidence in their descent from this individual, and 3) be willing to share this genetic information.

Project goal is to 1) identify the genetic progeny of Robert Fleming and 2)(hopefully) match this genetic line to other Fleming males, and 3) match with others of this surname in Ireland (thought to be the European origin of this family). If interested, please write me at:

revel55@msn.com

For decades, this line has been stalled--with no new evidence confirming the (as handed down) Irish origin of the family, or further indentification (with proof positive) of any older ancestry of Robert Fleming. Here is the opportunity to do so, and to add significantly to the history of this family.
