James Alexander Flem(m)ing of Kentucky

I am looking for a James Alexander Flem(m)ing that was born in Kentucky in 1819. He married Rachel R. Anders around 1868, I believe this is a second marriage for James due to the age difference. The had there first child Allie in Iowa but then settled in Douglas County Missouri. I have tried to find anything referring to James's parents but have had no luck. If anyone can be of assistance I would deeply appreciate it.
