My gg grandfather was Alexander Flemming who married a Rebecca Snow in Port La Tour, Shelb. co. in the late 1800's.
I cannot find any information on Alexander's past. I know that there was a James Flemming who was a witness at the marriage. This James also married a girl form the Port La Tour area. (a Swaine girl). I know this James Flemming was from Sambro and his parents were Oliver and Lucy (Nickerson) Flemming. I think at this time there was only these two Flemmings in this area. So I'm thinking that James and Alexander were related(perhaps brothers). Do you have any information on any of these Flemmings?

Thanks
Troy
