Fleming MD of 5767 Let me know if I am wrong here about the Wigton line. I have found that Charles Flemming, the grandson of John Flemming (1st Earl of Wigton) married Susannah Tarleton. They had a son named John Flemming b. 1697 who married Mary Bolling. They in turn had a son named William Flemming b. 6 July, 1736 who married Elizabeth Champe. Records state that William and Elizabeth had one son and 5 daughters. I can't find that son but, if this is true then a direct Wigton line could still be out there.
