Hello Patty:
My step-grandfather is Martin FLEISCHMANN. His brother was Leonard who was married to Pauline.
I haven't been doing the FLEISCHMANN genealogy as Martin was my dad's step-dad. (So I've been doing his real father's line, KRONES).
However, right now I am helping a cousin, Rita FLEISCHMANN, with her research into the FLEISCHMANN line. (Rita and I share the same grandmother but have different grandfathers.)
What we are realy confused about here is the father's name for Martin and his siblings. There is another brother named Paul. We have listed his father's name as Frank and mother's name as Jospeha (Josephine) Flora SIDLER. Do you have any documentation to confirm this? We are running short of documentation here.
I've been searching censuses, but so far without results.
By the way, I live here in Lakewood, Washington. Are you a Washingtonian? Or are you trying to do this search long-distance?
