hi. my name is justin clay fleetwood. i was born and raised in edenton, nc in chowan county just across the chowan river from bertie co. my great grandfather thomas wilson fleetwood lived in the same area as i was born. i have heard of one fleetwood from bertie co. who was a dragoon soldier in the time of the trail of tears when he rescued a cherokee woman from the group and married her. my grandfather and father have the reddest skin along with myself.
