Hi Michelle:
I read the age of Lee Fleenor on the Los Angeles, LA Co. CA 1930 census as 12 years old, making his birth about 1918. Robert and Ethel Fleenor would have adopted Lee Fleenor after the 1920 census that lists the first adopted son age 10. I read his name as Henry. Robert Fleenor and family arrived in CA from OR about 1928 [per his death certificate]. I have not been able to locate Henry, who would have been about 20 years old on the 1930 census. Robert and Ethel Fleenor must have separated right after arriving in CA and prior to the 1930 census since she and 12 year old Lee are living in Los Angeles and Robert is living in Berkeley, Alameda Co. CA. I'm still trying to find Henry on the 1930 census. Maybe there is a descendant out there who can fill in the blanks. Thanks for your inquiry.
