Larry, The father of Orville Fleenor, Lewis Colby Fleenor was a first cousin of my grandmother, Nancy Shields of Washington Co., IN. After the death of the father of Lewis Colby Fleenor in 1902, Colby and his younger brother Robert Howard Fleenor migrated to Oregon. Colby Fleenor and his wife Ethel had 5 children that I have found so far, Orville being the oldest. According to Oregon Death Records, FLEENOR, ORVAL COL died 02 Aug 1980 in Jackson Co., OR Certificate 80-13231 Birth date 15 Oct 1904 Spouse ETHEL. I would of course be interested in any Fleenor photos and thank you for the information. This prompts some new questions regarding adoption since the uncle of Orville, Robert Fleenor adopted two sons in Oregon.
