First of all let me say that I am NOT related to this family.My name is Tami Ramsey and I'm Pres. of the Pulaski Co. Genealogy Club and I was researching this line for one of our new members and thought it might benefit all of you as well.

H.L. Stone vs John FLEEMAN March 23, 1887
This cause having been settled as fare as the complainants judgment is concerned and he having no further interest in this suit the same dismissed as to him and on motion of R.L. Gardner who claims to be a judgment creditor of the debts it is ordered that this cause be retained in the docket and presented for the benefit and at the expense of said R.L. Gardner.

This deed made the 15th day of March 1886 between Andrew L. Ingles and Julia his wife of Pulaski County in the State of Virginia, of the first part and John FLEEMAN of the second part, Witnesseth that in consideration of one thousand dollars the said parties of the first part do grant unto the party of the second part – with covenants of general warranty all that certain tract or parcel of land situated in the County of Pulaski and the State of Virginia on the waters of the New River containing seventy seven and a half acres.More or less bounded as follows; Beginning at the sycamore on the bank of the New River, hence up the river S.45. E.57. poles to the Still-House branch. S.25. E.42 poles S.15. E.69. poles to a bunch of willows on the river bank, thence leaving the river and with the division line; between, A.L. Ingles and E.M. Ingles; North 82 W. 181 poles to two Black Oaks; W. 21 poles to a black oak (Farmer’s Corner) N 67. E 42 poles to a cedar N. 52, E 74 poles to four white oaks, saplings and N. 18 E. 44 ½ poles to the beginning.Together with the appurtenances.The vendors expressly retain a lien upon the land hereby conveyed to secure the payment of the unpaid purchase money.Witness the following signatures and seals.

This deed made this first day of October 1887 between John FLEEMAN and Elizabeth Jane FLEEMAN his wife (John FLEEMAN and Elizabeth J. Burton were married by C. TABOR, Sylvia FLEEMAN, 82, of Narrows, died at her home Tuesday, February 1,
2000. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on February 7, 1917
and was the daughter of the late Joseph Houston and Gertrude Caperton
FLEEMAN. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of
Christ) and the Lakeland Chapter #74 O.E.S., both of Narrows. She is
survived by her husband, James E. Tabor, Narrows; two sons and their wives,
James H. and Mary Lee Tabor, Narrows, Tommy and Melanie Tabor, Sylvia, N.C.;
a daughter and her husband, Betty Grey and T. C. Davis, Auburn, Ala.; a
sister and her husband, Louise and Woody Butler, Narrows; her grandchildren,
Heather Sharp and her husband, Wesley, Asheville, N.C., Ada and Maija Tabor,
Sylvia, N.C., Kermit and Derek Davis, Auburn, Ala.; several nieces and
nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2000 at 2 p.m.
in the First Christian Church in Narrows with Rev. Chris Michael
officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Narrows. The family
will receive friends at Riffe's in Narrows, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. The
family has suggested that those who are going to send memorials, please

Charles Edward FLEEMAN, 50, died in a Johnson City TN Veterans Hospital Saturday evening.He is survived by one son Charles FLEEMAN, Jr. of High Point, NC and three brothers and three sisters.The body will arrive in Pulaski at a later date and remain at Stricklers pending arrangements.
