I'm looking for descendants of William Fleeman who married Ida Underwood, March 10 1895 in Fayette Co., WV. William Fleeman gave his age as 24, making him born 1870/71. Place of birth was given as Kanawha Co., WV; parents Joseph and Malinda Fleeman. Ida Underwood was the daughter of Mary E. Wood and is either the adopted or biological daughter of Mary E. Wood's husband, Emanuel Underwood (Mary E. Wood and Emanuel Underwood married in 1872; however, in the 1870 Fayette Co. census Emanuel is enumerated in the Wood household and Ida is listed as an infant.) Emanuel Underwood is the son of Martha Hancock Underwood, half-sister of my g-g-g-g grandfather Reuben James. the common parent being their mother Frances "Fannie" (maiden name unknown). I'm hoping to share information with descendants of William Fleeman and Ida Underwood so that hopefully we can go further back than Fannie, discover who her James and Hancock husbands were, etc.
