I also have Family Tree Maker and would appreciate receiving your file on Charles Fleeman.

Much of my information on Conrad Fleeman came from a written summary prepared by my great-great aunt Lena Fleeman. She was the sister of Charles Fleeman and the daughter of Conrad.

Aunt Lena claimed that Conrad was in the Civil War. However, I have not been able to verify it. According to the 1870 census for Ohio and the 1880 census for West Virginia, daughter Catherine was born in 1861, daughter Caroline was born in !863, and son William was born in 1865, indicating that Conrad may have been at home during the Civil War.

Rebecca was the wife of George Fleeman, Charles' brother. George and Rebecca lived in Mason County Kentucky after they were married in 1891. They later moved to Friendship, Ohio in 1926 and are buried there. I have visited their grave. Rebecca's maiden name was Griffith. She had a famous ancestor, Simon Kenton.
