The Bible of James Lawrence Johnston of Adair Co., KY states that Sarah Fleece Logan Johnston died March 10, 1874, aged 80 years, 11 months, and 4 days. She is buried in the Johnston Family Cemetery just outside of Columbia, KY. Sarah Fleece first married Matthew Logan and had seven children. After his death she married the widower, Thomas Buford Johnston. Two of her daughers had married Johnston's sons. John Waller Johnston married Mary Clair Logan (my line). James Lawrence Johnston (owner of the Bible) married Diana Logan. Sarah had no issue by T. B. Johnston.
