Although, I am still looking for undeniable proof that Nicholas Fleece md Magdalene Weisinger and were parents of my ancestor John Fleece below. I still do not have it. But my information does differ from yours if I am understanding what you are saying. This is what I have.
The children of John Fleece the American Rev.War Soldier and Mary Withers of Berkley Co., Va later to Kentucky were. Rev Greenberry Fleece b Sept 13, 1804 (my ancestor), Nicholas b 1783, Elizabeth Betsy, b May 20, 1791, John Fleece, Jr., b 1788, Sarah Sally b April 14, 1793, Dr. James Fleece b Feb 28, 1798, Pamela b (?), Mariah b September 5, 1802, Charles b 1786 and Lucretia b abt 1807
Mary Withers Fleece was born abt 1760 so she couldn't have been the mother of Joseph W. Fleece b 1827.
Maybe he was the son of her grandchildren.
Do you know where information that Nicholas Fleece b abt 1730 (in the Lowlands of Germany; although others say France)was married to Magdalene Weisinger of Schrems, Austria parents of John Fleece of the American Rev War
