I am Margarets great grandson and i decided to share a little bit of her background with you.
Margaret was born June 23, 1918 in Sherman, Okla., the youngest of seven daughters born to George Westley Hill and Lessie May Hardesty. At the age of one, she moved with her family to the Bowmont area, south of Nampa where she grew up on the family farm. Margaret attended the Bowmont Grade School and Nampa High School. After high school Margaret married Edward Hennis and to this union was born three children, Joanne Elaine, Everett Leo and Laura Lavalle. Margaret was an attentive mother and homemaker. She also obtained employment with Mountain Bell and worked as a telephone operator for forty years. After her divorce from Ed, she married John Fleck with whom she had many happy years until his passing. Margaret enjoyed tending her acreage on Overland Road in Boise which she called home until her health required that she move. She enjoyed the many friendships she made at the Sunbridge Retirement Center and will be missed by all who loved her infectious smile and happy attitude. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, her husband John, and daughter Joanne.
