We believe that our Josiah Flatt and two of his brothers went to Canada, Simcoe County, in the 1800's. James b. 1810, Jonathon 1823, Josiah 1834, Richard no date, William no date. James, Jonathan, Josiah for sure went to Canada. As you can see the dates are spread out but we are pretty sure they are brothers. It is quite possible their father was a James Flatt, b. and Josiah born about 1777. Your mention of Robert and William makes me wonder if we have a connection and that Robert and William are not really sons of James. Do you have any of the above names in your database?
Sincerely,
Mike Peterson
