The 9/2/1734 Will of Nicholas Mundy, Jr. (2) of the Vineyard, in the township of Piscattuckqua, in the county of Middlesex, Province of New Jersey, Yeoman, mentions all of his children, of note "I give to my daughter Elizabeth Flat 5 shillings". Elizabeth was b. 12/16/1701. Her brother Thomas b. 11/5/1699 is supposed (based on undocumented research by a cousin now deceased) to have been a Van Vliet, but no first name given.
Too much coincidence here, MUCH more likely he and his sister married a sister and brother, unless the Flatts and Van Vliets both lived in close proximity to the Mundy land at "The Vineyard".
Please check for my e-mail address and contact me directly.
Nicholas Mundy Sanborn, Sr.
