The ones I know about, anyway.
First, the John Flatt m Patience Logston/Logsdon Flatts. They went from NJ/PA to KY to IL and one branch went to Texas to Van Zandt County, Texas. For example, James Flatt b 1827 in IL m Margaret West's descendants went from Gasconade Co MO to Van Zandt Co TX.
Another group of Flatts appears to be from John Flatt of Roane County, TN, whose son Nathaniel Flat b 1847 was born in KY, lived in Jackson County, TN and is buried in Johnson County, Texas

My own Flatts are from James Flatt m Rebecca Rice, one branch of which went to eastern Texas, and are buried in Parker (Springtown), Texas.
