Andrew Flatt was born Nov 27, 1755 in Woodbridge, NJ. He married Elizabeth Salmon, born May 9, 1762 in Northampton Co, PA. Daughter Nancy Flatt m Ezra Wilson, second son of John and Elizabeth Schooley Wilson (I also have it in my notes that his parents were Samuel Wilson b Nov 19, 1706 at Chesterfield Twp, Burlingon, NJ m Deborah Willets). Nancy Flatt was born Aug 29, 1784 at Muncy, PA, and died April 29, 1874 at Hepburn Twp, Lycoming Co, PA. Ezra Wilson was born July 3, 1779 at Sussex Co, NJ. He married Nancy Flatt about 1806.

It is not known for sure who Andrew Flatt's father was, he is not named in records found so far. According to his Rev War pension record, he went with his father in the fall of 1774 to Northumberland Co, PA on the waters of Shamokin Creek and by 1776 had moved up the Susquehanna River to what was Northumberland but now is Lycoming Co, PA. In 1778, he was a sergeant in Capt Hepburn's militia. The reason his father is conjectured to be named John is that a John Flatt is listed buying land in 1775 at Shamokin, so it's reasonable to make that jump.
