Thanks for your post; am I to understand that Edith is your great grandmother? Agreed, we probably are cousins. Edith's brother, David, was my grandfather, so does that for sure make us 2nd cousins twice removed? I do need to figure out the cousins with removes and how that works? I found some other living cousins and it has been a great genealogy quest.
Curiously now that I think of it, there is a picture of a Robert Flansburg at a University of NE website as part of a tribute to WWI fallen soldiers. Have you seen it and do you know if this Robert is the son or nephew of Edith and Fred?
