Do you know where you might have heard Rosecommon?I have searched extensively for clues as to where Dennis came in and the only Dennis (anything) I found that fits his date of birth and the fact that his children were all born here and that he married an American restrict his date of entry to between 1814 and 1836, I found a Dennis Flannery who came into Nova Scotia at the right age and between the 1814 and 1836 dates.Given that errors in transcription etc were made all the time I do consider this a viable possibility but unfortunately I pulled the image of the original document and it only states Ireland as the place of origin.I also found several obits for Dennis and none of them even mention he was from Ireland. They are all very brief. As far as Stephen A goes I will see if anything I have on the Fianigans mentions him and ask Mark to question his Great Aunt who may have heard something as a child.Good luck in your search and please keep me posted if you have any new Flanigan finds and I will do the same.
