Flanders Family Update - Week of 31 July 2005
Posted by: Jason Crane (ID *****6086) Date: August 12, 2005 at 06:27:09

Howdy folks,

Welcome to the first weekly e-mail update of Flanders family news.

The Flanders Family Blog < > has been up
since July 21. In the first two weeks, we've averaged 12 visits per day
-- more than 150 visits overall. Not bad! The site currently features
downloadable copies of research materials; the newsletter; Web-only
articles; a family mystery we need help solving; and more! If you
haven't visited yet, please do. And tell a relative!

The first issue of Flanders Family News is available, and the feedback
has been wonderful. My original intention was to make it a quarterly
newsletter, but I've already received several submissions for the next
issue, so I'm going to try to make it a monthly newsletter. The only
way that will work is if YOU help. That means send me your family
photos (old and new); family stories; family mysteries; birth, death,
anniversary and birthday announcements; and anything else you think may
interest the family. You can send all those things to < >. Got it? Hit those "send" buttons!

I have a little announcement of my own. Last week, my wife Jennifer and
I discovered that we're pregnant again! So there'll be a new little
Flanders child running around sometime in March, if all goes well. We
already have one son, Bernie (2 years old), and he needs a sibling, so
we're thrilled.

I've already met a bunch of new cousins since starting the Web site and
newsletter. Here's a list of the folks who've responded to the
questionnaire. If YOU haven't responded, do it right now. Just five
easy questions, OK? Thanks!
