Hi Wayne

Although the majority of Flannerys emigrated to America directly from Ireland, many others first migrated to England and Scotland, and then emigrated to America from there.

There is a brief account of the Irish origins of the Flannerys (all spellings) at http://www.flanneryclan.ie/

Regards

Lorcan
