A cousin has sent me a copy of a family tree, done by a relative in 1956. According to this, my ancestor, Martha Flanary Speer, b. 1806 in KY, was a daughter of Thomas Flanary b. 1775 and Sarah Anderson. Sources were not given in this 1956 genealogy, but all other info has proven to be correct. I have been unable to reach the author of World Connect Project 44042, who has Daniel Anderson Flanary as the son of Thomas and Sarah Anderson Flanary and gives Daniel Anderson Flanary's wife as Frances Alton (b SC).
My Martha Flanary Speer is buried in the Speer/Benham/Hughes Cemetery in Wayne Co., TN. I mention this because this is a small family cemetery and everyone buried there is somehow related. There are Altons (natives of SC) buried there.
I'm trying to verify my Martha's connection to Thomas and Sarah A. Flanary, and would like to hear from anyone who might connect to this line.
