Hi John,

I, too descend from Robert Flake through his daughter, Mary, who married a Clark. There is supposedly info on Robert Flake in Boddie's, "Historical Southern Families, VIII". I haven't seen it but the person who gave me the info thinks Robert was born in England about 1621. (Notes: 10 Aug 1691 Robert Flake gave deposition aged 70 years (x). [Places birth about 1621).
