Several individuals have spoken of Elijah Flake on this website. Elijah Flake fought on the Merrimac/Virginia during the civil war. Elijah Flake was my great grandfather. My father and I have a book that Elijah Flake wrote about the battle when the Monitor and Merrimac clashed. We are currently typing the text into a word document and when we finish we’ll post it on the internet. Hello all you cousins!
