Peter Flagg Vermont & Illinos

Hi,

I have an elusvie Flagg - Peter H. Flagg (May 5, 1832-Nov. 19, 1866) was born in Vermont (according to the 1860 census). On that census he was married and living in Oswego, Kendall County, Illinois. That is all I know about him! His elder son was named Harry Hiram and I wonder if Peter's "H" could be one of those given names. I can't find Peter on the 1850 census in Kendall County, Illinois or in Vermont. In 1840 there are only two possibilities for fathers - Stephen and Jonas.

Does anyone have information or suggestions?
